Current Mentors...Download the 2009-2010 Can Do Mentoring Schedule. This is the updated list of team leads, locations, times, and topics. Check out the latest Can Do Mentoring Update. The Can Do Kids are the 2002-2003, 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2005-2006,2006-2007, and 2007-2008 fourth grade classes at Peoria, IL's Irving Primary School. These 375 kids are excited about their school, their conduct, and their personal progress with their grades and test courses. The Irving School students are culturally diverse: 79.4% Black, 10.5% Hispanic, and 9.5% White. However, 95.1% of Irving's students are low-income rate students, coming from families receiving public aid, live in institutions for neglected or delinquent children, are supported in foster homes with public funds, or are eligible to receive free or reduced price lunches.
